The look of the paved square located close to Octogon, at the heart of Budapest’s entertainment district, has changed substantially in the past years. By now it has become one of the most popular „café-squares” in town. On the two sides of the oblong square divided by trees and bushes there are cafés and restaurants, their outdoor terraces practically merge in the summer, turning the place into one large café. The square is lined by Classicist buildings.
