The large apartment building on Benczúr street – originally named Egyedi palace – was built in the 19th century, at the same time the villas around Andrássy avenue were constructed. The three-storey building was bought by the Hungarian Royal Post Office in 1930. It was renovated in the early 1990s and has been operating as a culure center since. It is still in excellent condition.
